Some of my thoughts about search engine marketing which i want to share with you are:
In the dynamic world of digital marketing, I believe two things which can make big difference are, "Will is much stronger than Skill". Don't worry if you are fresher in SEO/SEM industry. If you have willingness to learn no one can stop you and by time you will be an expert in internet marketing.
Second is "Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish". Be a student in SEM industry, whether you have 1 or 10 years experience.
All of we are working under the guidelines of search engines and SEO is one of most dynamic industry. Google itself said, "We are doing more than 200 experiments with our search results". So techniques we are using today, tomorrow can be no longer use.
As Matt Cutts said; “The best SEOs recognize, adapt, and even flourish when changes happen.”
