Who will dominate in future?
I have seen almost every experienced SEO also like to work as freelancer. Whether he is doing SEO job or not. A 4-5 year experience SEO professional can handle and execute quality of SEO work in low cost. So the project which should gone to a company will handle by a freelancer SEO. Since SEO is a growing indusrty so in future you can see good no. of SEO freelancer.We can't ignore that freelancer SEO will not effect the market share of SEO Industry. It can go upto 30% market share of SEO Industry. A SEO freelancer who have good online reputation and worked in good no. of projects can't be ignored by SEO service seeking company.
One disadvantage with SEO companies are that if they are good SEO company then their SEO charges are quite high. And second if it is medium sized or new SEO Company then profile and experience of SEO freelancer dominates on these companies.
I think in few years picture of SEO industry will get more clear. But both SEO Company and Freelancer has to work according to search engines algorithms. So search engines can also play a vital role in SEO company and freelancer work.
