One of most saying line in internet world, when a company is going to launch a new product or application. Tomorrow i.e. on Monday Facebook may announce Facebook mail, now again question arises,
Will Facebook mail kill the Gmail :) ?
At time of goo.gl launch the question was, Will this kill bit.ly ?
When Google launch the Google Instant then question was, Will this kill SEO?
I could not understand why people are more insecure than companies :) ? But one thing is sure, before lunch of any product they create good buzz about product. At least company get free publicity and more people know about product.
When same question was asked from Google about competitors and Social media. Google said,
"We always welcome our competitor, internet is a multimillion dollar industry. In future we can see more competitors. And we never waste time on how we can stop our competitor. We are focusing on creating wonderful products which people will love. And if we bring useful and wonderful products our task is done."
